All My Love, Always . . . A Thousand Letters

Last month, we interviewed Ann Fronduti, whose father was killed in Normandy in 1944, just after she was born. She never knew her father, an army doctor, except through the thousand letters he wrote before his jeep struck a mine as it rushed to the wounded on the frontlines.

Army Captain John S. Williams of Ridgway, Pennsylvania served as a medical doctor with the 104th Medical Battalion of the 29th Division.
